Colorado, May 2007 In May I headed over to Colorado for a friend's wedding in Fort Collins. Flights are easy from the UK - direct flights under 9 hours. I also drove for the first time in 2 years, which was great (although thank god for SatNav, otherwise I would never have been able to get around.). I ended up with a Chevrolet Malibu, and the only good thing I can say about it was that it had Florida plates, which made my life easier as the other drivers thought I was an out of state fool who couldn't be expected to know my way around. The wedding was beautiful, the shopping was superb (I can highly recommend Colorado Mills Outlets and Flatiron Crossing), and in between all that I even found time for an afternoon in the Rocky Mountains national park - I saw Elk! Well, I thought they were moose, but it was patiently explained to me that wouldn't have been possible.
