London in the Spring - 2006

London is really gorgeous in Spring. It could just be relief after the three long, dark, wet months of January, February and March, but suddenly daffodils are everywhere, the days start to lengthen by an amazing half an hour every week, and I can finally set my boiler to summer setting and give the radiators a well-deserved rest until next winter.

Here are some photos from St James' Park, Hyde Park and Kew Gardens, taken during April (I tried waiting for a sunny day, but in the end just had to take photos when I could).
